3 Days in Vegas

Hey everyone! Hope your week is off to a good start. I am just getting back into the swing of things after a fun filled weekend in Las Vegas. This post is a little different from others because it is basically just going to be a bunch of pictures showing bits and pieces of my weekend. I’m going to show you a couple of outfits, what I ate, and other random pictures from my trip.

What I wore

Outfit 1

My top and skirt are both from Forever 21 and super affordable. My lace bra is from Victoria’s Secret and my shoes are from Charlotte Russe. I thought this outfit was perfect for a night out in Las Vegas because it is definitely more on the sexy side. Really anything goes in Las Vegas so wear what makes you feel comfortable.

This was our last night out and I wanted to be a little more dressy. This jumpsuit is my new obsession. It fit like a glove. It was the perfect length and all around so comfortable to dance in all night. The jumpsuit and belt are both from Express and my shoes are Charlotte Russe once again.

This suit isn’t the most exciting but I am absolutely obsessed with this top so I wanted show it. Believe it or not it is from Target, which means it is super affordable. Finding cute swim wear this summer was definitely a struggle for me. When I found this at Target for less than $20 I was so happy. For bottoms I’m just wearing some cheeky black ones from Victoria’s Secret.

The Rest

This trip was so much fun and I am so thankful to have experienced all Las Vegas has to offer. We stayed at the MGM Grand hotel and it was absolutely amazing. There are so many options for food and it was all amazing! The location was perfect we were close to everything! There is something for everyone at the MGM. If you like hip-hop, country, house music they have it all. Obviously there is a huge casino and so many little bars throughout. I would definitely recommend MGM to anyone going to Las Vegas. Here a few more pictures from my trip!

A huge thank you to one of my best friends Ashley for making this happen! I am so thankful for my friends and opportunities I have been given this year so far. This year has definitely been a roller coaster and without friends I don’t know where I would be today. My heart is so full and I’m SO thankful! ❤

5 Tips for a Healthier Lifestyle

Hey loves! Today I am collabing with my sweet friend Katarina from Fashiions Finest again. We’ve come up with 10 tips for a healthier lifestyle. I will be sharing five and Kat will be sharing five over on Fashiions Finest.


I think this is something everyone should do more often. We get so caught up in social media and texting that we lose reality. I’m not saying turn your phone off for 24 hours, but start with 30 minutes. In those 30 minutes try being present and taking that time for yourself. Whether you use that time for reflection, meditation, a bubble bath or whatever it may be, make sure you’re doing something positive and for yourself.

I was never into reading in high school, and I think it was because of how forced reading was for me. Having to go home and read multiple chapters of a book I had no interest in really deterred me from picking up a book. Now that I am in college and take zero reading classes I find myself wanting to read. I promise that if you find the right book for you, you will not want to put it down! Reading is a great way to unwind and relax, so if you don’t have time to read during the day, do it before bed every night! Some of my favorites are “I Had a Nice Time and Other Lies” “Pillow Thoughts” and “Girl Boss

Drink More Water

This is a given! If you want to be healthier you need to drink water. Water does so many great things for your health, skin, and even mood. Drink only water for two weeks and see how much of a difference it makes.

Try a Workout Class

I know working out isn’t everyones thing, but a workout class is a great way to get healthier. Doing group fitness is fun because you get to interact with other people who all have the same goal, to be healthier. If you check out your local gym I’m sure you will find a number of group fitness activities. Even use yelp and search yoga studios near you, or whatever type of exercise that interests you.

Get Outside

Try doing something outside at least once a week. Whether you go on a walk, hike, kayaking anything. I swear that just being outside on a sunny day just boosts your mood. Who doesn’t love to be in a good mood?

HOW TO: Get Through a Heart Break

Hey loves, today I’m getting more personal on the blog. I want to keep this blog as true to me as I possibly can. With that being said, todays post is all about heart break and how to get through it. Trust me you will get through it. Even though it may feel like this will last forever, we all know nothing does. I will be sharing what I do to keep positive and happy through darker times!

This is an easy one for me. Exercising helps me in multiple ways. It most importantly clears my mind. I like to start my day with a workout. That way I start my day with a clear head. I know exercise isn’t everyones cup of tea, but that’s ok. Whether you go to the gym and lift weights or simply go for a walk, I promise exercising will help tremendously. Exercising also makes you healthier, and if you’re healthier you’re automatically happier. And you know what they say “the best form of revenge is a good body.” 😉

I have come to love journaling. I use my journal for three different things. First, I use it to write out my weekly goals. No matter how big or small the goals are, write them down. This way you are being held accountable. If you open your journal everyday and see these goals, you are more likely to accomplish them. Next, I use my journal to keep a to-do list for the week. Nothing feels better than checking something off your to-do list. It is all about finding happiness wherever you can, and that little check mark definitely puts a smile on my face. Lastly, I use my journal for daily reflections. I like to reflect on my day and write what made me happy, mad, sad, excited, etc. that day. I love looking back on my reflections to see how much growth I’ve accomplished or areas of my life that are continuously making me feel a certain way. Journaling takes time but I promise you will love it once you start!

Be Social

It is so important to surround yourself with people through tough times. Find genuine people to spend your free time with. I am blessed to be surrounded by the best group of girls who build each other up everyday. Getting out of the house and spending time with people who make you happy is so helpful. Being social helps get through heart break the most.


Get Outside

This ties into working out but becoming one with nature is a big help. Getting outdoors and exploring the beauty of nature is so calming. Going through heart break and tough times often makes us feel anxious. Going on a hike or nature walk really resets me and calms me. I like to do something outdoorsy on Sundays to reset myself and start my week off on the right foot.

I hope this was helpful in any way, shape, or form. Going through heart break can be so difficult and I want other women, and girls to know they are not alone. It’s hard and it hurts but it doesn’t last forever. We are strong and able to get through it. It is so important to love yourself and to take care of yourself. Remember self love is the greatest love. Take my advice and try these things, and with time I promise you will become happier with yourself and your life.
