HOW TO: Tame Naturally Curly Hair

Hey loves, today were talking all things hair. If you have naturally curly hair you know the pain of taming it in the hot, humid, sweaty summer months. For years I’ve been searching for something to keep my hair looking fresh all day. I want my hair to look fresh, healthy and last all day. If you have curly hair you know that’s asking for a lot. After trying just about every product on the market, I think I’ve finally mastered it!

Get all of the knots and snarls out. Then, gently run your fingers through your hair “activating” your curls. Flip your head upside down and massage the scalp with your fingertips gently.

Start by taking a dime sized amount of natural coconut oil and rubbing it directly on the ends of your hair. Next section your hair into two equal parts and take a little less than a dime sized amount and work it into the middle and root of your hair. Do the same to both layers of hair.

Next you’ll want to section hair into two equal parts again. Take a dime sized amount of the Cantu Shea Butter Leave in Conditioner and apply is to the middle and ends of your hair. Avoiding the root. You’ll want to make sure to avoid the root so your hair doesn’t appear to be greasy.
